Price Basic:

Its hard to judge site and time of completion. Due to Clients feedback and needs but on the average, sites can take up to 4 week to get set just right.

Site that include catalogs and large amounts of images can take longer. Case in point  http://www.cuesnthings.com has over 1000 html pages and over 4000 images. Costing them up to this point about $15,000 for the full site and layout  over the last 2 years.

Other site we have set up  like http://www.sixpointrestraint.com and a few others, we just set up the site graphics work and directory layout. After we had finished the work they took over updating their sites. This is a way to keep your cost down. We still give them tech support and help when needed. On a basic note we do have clients that have set their sites as basic information site and do not need allot of updates.
